Green Globes Rating System and Carbon Footprint Discussion

Date/Time:
November 12, 2009 - 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Green Globes is both an emerging new assessment tool for green projects and a guide for deploying green design principles. In this event, which will be split between networking and a presentation from Kris Shaw, the director of Sustainable Design and Administration at Crescent Energy, and guest speaker Peter Fusaro, founder of Global Change Associates and an expert on environmental financial markets.

The Green Globes system works as a sort of LEED 2.0, offering guidance during a project's delivery stages and allowing clients to measure their CO2 emissions, waste production and water and energy use. The networking hour, Q&A and presentation promise to offer a compelling introduction to this new way of looking at green building.
