In the first of what will likely be a month-long parade of 2006 green building retrospectives until the New Year, the November edition of Building Design + Construction contains an editorial written by EiC Robert Cassidy providing a laundry list of the past year’s green milestones. Highlights include the first Platinum certification for a residential project, awarded to LivingHomes under the LEED for Homes Pilot Program on August 16, Hines forming a $120 million “green fund” with CalPERS on September 27, and the October 9th opening of Manhattan’s Hearst Tower.
